My favourite pastime : SPENDING TIME WID NATURE :)

How long has it been since I expressed my creativity? In the daily rush to meet deadlines and fulfill obligations, my creative self often gets shuffled to the sidelines. And that's not a good thing as my creativity is so closely connected to my sense of self-fulfillment. Creativity helps me to experience the magical and playful side of life. It lets me explore my passions and express myself artistically.

In my case, my preferred creative passion is my garden. I love spending time tending to my rose plants. They delight my senses and fill me with much joy and satisfaction. It is a very grounding pastime, and one that I also get to share with others as well by spending many glorious hours talking about our gardening experiences.

Sadly, many people don't consider themselves creative, especially if they don't write, paint or play music. But that is a limited perspective of creativity. Within each and every one of us exists an artistic being just waiting for the opportunity to shine. And,I think, that is not to be taken lightly!

My creative expression touches me on a very personal level. It can be as simple and spontaneous as singing while driving car or say my pleasure. It can be a playful moment of making up a silly things or making my home a special place for me and for those close to me to relax and enjoy.

So,my friend (specially Riddhi I used to call her Rydham :-),one of my best friends), how do you express your creativity, and when was the last time you did that? If it's been a while, I hope my thoughts (I know I know for u its lecture ) will serve as an inspirational reminder to exercise your inner artist! Just open yourself up to the possibilities around you, and hopefully you will find ways to explore, nurture and enjoy your creative side!

A few add ons on Creativity - it comprises of three elements: (1) Fluency i.e. ease of thinking many thematic areas; (2) Flexibility i.e. ease of thinking various things/usage in each of these areas and (3) Originality i.e. original thinking. You seem to be on right track just think in these lines and work upon to be more and more creative......all the best.

your friend.
